Dr. August J. Durso, jr.

Dr. Durso has been in private practice since 1984. He opened his office in Mt. Prospect in 1989.  Dr. Durso attained his bachelor's degree from Miami University in 1980 and was presented with his D.D.S. degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1984.

Dr. Durso is a member of the Elite Study Club, associated with the Seattle Study Club.  The groups study and examine current trends and procedures in the practice of dentistry.  He has also received extensive training and is skilled in the use of Cad-Cam dental systems, also known as Cerec, as well as the use of soft-tissue diode laser treatments.

Dr. Durso contributes several weeks of dental services, including support of the Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters and the El Nino Rey Mission Group that brings dental services to remote mountain villages in Mexico.

Dr. Durso and his wife Jackie are the proud parents of four children: Julianne, Tim, A.J., and Madeline.  The Doctor's favorite pastime is Family and he also enjoys a bit of running and golf.
